How To Get In Shape For Your Wedding

​Happy New Year and congrats to all the newly engaged couples! I was engaged this time last year. Ladies, this blog is for you.  We all want to look and feel beyond our best on the big day.  Here are my pointers. Not only am I a personal trainer and health coach, but I'm a gal that's been in your shoes.  I feel ya!

My 5 pointers are:

  1. Don’t wait to start a workout program.  Create the schedule and habit now.  Yes, schedule.  Actually create the time in your calendar and keep it.  Would you cancel a meeting with your boss? Be the boss!
  2. Stress is a real thing with such big plans.  It can wreck havoc on your body.  Make time to de-stress with massage, time with girlfriends, your hobbies, yoga, and meditation.  Don’t forget to focus on your wellbeing and mindset to handle all the hustle. Breathe, everything will be fab! 
  3. Focus on your food. Don’t do fad diets or detoxes.  Focus on real food and keep it consistent.  Your body deserves quality nutrition! 
  4. Have fun.  Don’t forget this is one of the happiest times of your life!  Find joy in every moment. Try to slow it down to savor all the good times and moments.
  5. Keep it consistent.  There’s that word again.  Your workouts and quality nutrition need to be a priority for your health and wellbeing, not just your dress size.​
